PITSTONE MEMORIAL HALL
Ivinghoe & Pitstone Cricket Club
Ivinghoe & Pitstone Cricket Club have their preparations for the coming season well underway. It's a big cricket year with the one day World Cup and the Ashes in England this summer and IPUCC are a cricket world cup focus club. There will be chances to take part in events, see games and enjoy a game or two.
Visit the club website to see what they have planned.
Although winter nets have finished, senior training will be getting underway on Thursday evenings, which started on 4th April at Pitstone Recreation Ground, so if you fancy trying out, please pop down.
Colts training will be on Sunday mornings from early May and Allstars (5-8 year olds) gets going on Friday evenings from 10th May.
See the ECB website for details. It's a great fun introduction to cricket for boys and girls and a chance for Mum and Dad to wind down with a glass of beer or wine at the end of the week.
We have so much going on here at
the hall with events and clubs happening all the time.

We are Here for Your Special Events
Our cool bar, two kitchens, stage and varying event spaces can provide you with what you need to bring your colleagues or nearest and dearest together for whatever reason.
We have many contacts for caterers, our resident DJ and entertainers and with our ample parking and large outdoor space, look no further for somewhere to hold your gathering.
With our black out blinds and special acoustic wall pads, we have it all sewn up.
We also have a dedicated Hall Manager who can personally show you round and help you with your planning to get the best out of your event.
The hall is ageing and requires more funds to maintain it and update the facilities.
Please help us by donating through easyfundraising - the site collects free donations for us every time you buy something online. It won't cost you a penny extra so please help us to raise funds. Join us here.
It’s your Memorial Hall – Help Us Make it better & Volunteer on the Committee
We would like to extend an invitation to those of you who may want to join us on our committee.
Our Hall has undergone many changes over the last few years, not least of which being a brand new bar and redecoration of the entire property. It is efficiently run and really is the centre of our village homing many classes, clubs and meetings.
We don't expect a lot from you, just a commitment to help us shape our hall's fabric and activities through discussions and feedback only once every 3 months during a designated meeting.
Maybe you've just moved into the area or you've been here a while and would like to know what's going on in our well booked and vibrant hall or maybe you would like to help us with events or upkeep.
We have a voluntary vacancy for a committee secretary too, which will allow you to directly help us with the running of the hall through various administrative tasks.
Whatever time you can donate, we and the village would be extremely grateful.
WE NEED YOU & THANK YOU
